Leer Truck Caps

Leer Truck Caps have been around since the mid 1960's. Leer started out in Elkhart Indiana making truck caps from 2x4's and aluminum. The company is now a dominant player in the US market for fiberglass truck caps. For a history of the Leer company and some of my favorite pictures of old truck caps - click here . And, before I go any further, I want to remind you that Leer also manufactures one of the most popular lines of tonneau covers for your pickup. So if all you need is a tonneau cover, here's what Leer Tonneau Covers has for your pickup.

Clean Tip: It's great to have a truck cap protecting your truck's bed and giving you a man(or woman) cave away from home. But that cap also slows the drying process if you get water on the truck bed. Some universal absorbent mats may help you soak up that excess moisture, spills and gunk, and, reduce mold, mildew and their smells.

Leer Models 100RCC and 180RCC
Leer couldn't let you hard working souls out there make due with just any old pickup truck cap. So they constructed out of the same fine materials and accessories that the Lear Truck Caps Models 100 & 180 are made of, two commercial workhorses with structural re-inforcements to withstand the brutality of the everyday jobsite. These babies can haul up to 400 lbs on the roof racks and have all kinds of options for toolboxes, rack systems, power and more. And most important of all, either of these truck caps looks good enough to drive to a wedding!
