Natural Auto Products
Save the Planet

Planet friendly and organic is a great way to describe the Natural Auto Products LLC product line of what else but, natural car mats. Born in 1996, in Agoura Hills, California, Natural Auto Products(NAP), also known as Coco Mats Dot Com, has been manufacturing their line of planet friendly car mats from coco fiber, sisal, sea grass and wool since the company inception.

Natural Auto Products uses rolls of woven coco and sisal fibers from India to make their line of natural fiber car mats.Natural Auto Products uses rolls of woven coco and sisal fibers from India to make their line of natural fiber car mats.

Now operating out of Fort Mill, South Carolina, the owners, Jeff and Debbie Allwine, sell their wares in the automotive aftermarket to owners of everything from Acura to Volvo. They are especially popular amongst car restoration specialists as their products provide an authentic, alternative natural floor covering to such manufacturers as Auto Custom Carpets(ACC). And if you just can't get into the green, organic lifestyle, Natural Auto Products also offers a line of environmentally friendly Furstil style car mats made from vinyl or nylon. In either case you get a car floor mat manufactured by hand, in the USA, from one of the 1000's of floor pan templates the company has designed over the years that gives you the perfect fitting car mat your vehicle deserves.

Coco Mats
Popular in 1950's through 1970's European cars from such manufacturers as Mercedes Benz, BMW, MG, Triumph, VW and Porsche, the CocoMat from NAP is really made from woven fibers sourced in India. There, coconut husks are beaten into fibers, aged in water, spun into yarn, dyed to the desired colors and woven into the fabric that finds its' way to NAP here in the USA.

NAP uses only fabric woven from high quality Angenjo yarns.  At NAPs' factory in Fort Mill, SC the fabric is cut to the shape of your vehicles floor pan from the one of more than 2500 shapes in NAPs' inventory. A 1/8 inch rubber backing with nibs prevents these mats from moving around on your car floor. A rubber heel pad, hot glued to the fabric is then double stitched onto the mat to ensure it remains flat and rigid.

Sisal Mats
Natural Auto Products(NAP) manufactures its' Sisal Mat from, of all things, sisal. Sisal is a natural, fibrous, stringy type material derived from the agave sisalana cactus. NAP sources its' sisal in Tanzania and ships it to India where it is spun into a boucle style yarn. This yarn is then spun into a boucle type fabric that has a softer, looped appearance. It adds a bit of refinement to your vehicle and is even used in upscale residential applications.  The sisal fabric is processed by NAP in a manner similar to the coco fiber product. It's just another optional material for you to consider when you choose your car mat from NAP.

Sea Grass Mats
NAP uses grass grown in the ocean depths to make their Sea Grass Car Mat. They say it gives a beach look to your car and gives a unique look, feel and smell to your car interior. These mats evolve in color from light green to a golden tan over time. Processing the fabric to make the sea grass mat is similar to the coco fiber product with most features being the same. But since the sea grass is grown in offshore farms and harbors hundreds of species of fish and ocean life as a result, you may feel more environmentally and fish conscious buying this mat.

Wool Mats
Luxurious, woven woolen mats from Natural Auto Products. Soft to the touch and available in 6 colors; black, gray, golden tan, taupe, brown fawn and dark gray. NAP says these mats will make your bare feet say "Thank You". Manufacturing and features are similar to the Natural Auto Products CocoMat.

Chequers
Chequer weave was very popular in the 1960's BMW. It's seeing a resurgence in the tuner vehicles of today (tuner vehicles are usually older Hondas, Nissans and Subarus that are customized with body kits, cold air intakes, cat back exhausts and other performance improvements, kinda like the cars in Fast and Furious movies). Vibrant color combinations typify the Chequer weave car mat from NAP. These mats are made of sisal material and are available in 6 color combinations; black & red, black & green, black & gray, black & tan, black & blue, black & orange. They pretty much have the same features as the Natural Auto Products Sisal Mats.

Furstil M+S
A waterproof mat with rubber nibbed backing and a heel pad. The mat is woven in a cross hatch geometric pattern and comes in 6 colors; mango, lime, amber, latte, carbon and walnut. The Furstil M+S car mats share pretty much the same features as other Natural Auto Products car floor mats.

Furstil 6.6
Imported from Germany the Furstil 6.6 car mat material is elegant looking and resembles the look of the Sisal Mat. It's made of a durable, high strength nylon 6/6 polymer which is extremely resistant to abrasion. And while it looks like Sisal, it has significantly better wear and color fading properties making it a reasonable synthetic alternative to Sisal. It comes in seven colors; fern, brown, calico, light gray, medium gray, black and red. The Furstil 6.6 car mats have pretty much the same features as other Natural Auto Products car floor mats.

Furstil Stripes
The Furstil Stripe model is another new creation of NAP. Similar to rubber car mats but more colorful, these mats are manufactured by weaving a high strength phthalate free vinyl using a process that makes them waterproof. Designed to absorb a lot of abuse from weather and your boots, these mats easily hose off and look like new. They come in three color patterns; coral, fern and marina. The Furstil Stripe car mats have pretty much the same features as other Natural Auto Products car floor mats.
